Last weekend, my friend Joanna and I travelled to Milan and Lake Como for a little bank holiday getaway!
Since the first Harry Potter book was released, I’ve been addicted to the magic of Hogwarts (the clue’s in the name!). I was always first in line to buy the next one, eager to continue the story. By around book 4, I told my mum to start to read them too as I knew she would love them as much as I did. Instantly hooked, we’d spend hours talking over the stories (she’s still disappointed by the ending!!) and a life-long Harry Potter bond was formed!
My beautiful friend Katie got married over the bank holiday weekend and I was lucky enough to be one of her bridesmaids!
It was a such a brilliant day and she looked absolutely perfect – her dress was incredible! I couldn’t be happier for her and Stuart and am so grateful I was able to be a part of her big day.
I can’t wait to show you all the professional photos but for now, here’s a couple I took on my iPhone.
Happy Wednesday everyone! We are already half way through the week!
I’ve had a couple of emails asking what I use for my everyday make up, so here goes! My day to day make-up look is pretty light and natural but with lashings of mascara and blusher.
I randomly picked up the Garnier Oil Infused Nourishing Lotion this week and I am so impressed with it!
I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect under eye concealer – I buy so many, hoping that the next one will be ‘the’ one. I want to find a concealer that blends well, stays on all day, doesn’t crease, is a good colour match and the right consistency to cover dark circles while brightening the under eye area – is that too much to ask for!?
I have never been a fan of L’Oreal shampoos and conditioners. They always look and sound so great but my hair always feels coated, heavy and greasy after using them.
After watching Blake Lively swish her beautiful hair around on her new advert, I decided to give their products a go again and bought the new L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening shampoo, conditioner and deep treatment as they promised to give me thicker hair and luckily were also half price in Boots!
I’ve only ever used a combination of MAC and Bobbi Brown brushes but decided to purchase a selection of Real Techniques brushes after seeing such great reviews online.
My blog is now on Blog Lovin’! Click here to find me.
I’d love it if you would follow me.
