Happy Wednesday everyone! We are already half way through the week!
I’ve had a couple of emails asking what I use for my everyday make up, so here goes! My day to day make-up look is pretty light and natural but with lashings of mascara and blusher.
After cleaning my face and applying serum, moisturiser and eye cream, I add a tiny layer of MAC Strobe Cream to give my skin a dewy glow.
As I don’t like my skin to feel too heavy with make up, I sometimes then use a small amount of MUA BB cream to cover any imperfections.
After this, I apply the Collection 2000 Full Coverage concealer under my eyes and around my nose and T-zone. This is blended in with the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush and the Beauty Blender. I then set the concealer with a light dusting of MAC Prep and Prime translucent powder using the Real Techniques setting brush.
With the Real Techniques powder brush I then apply lots of Benefit’s Hoola bronzer all over my face concentrating on the areas that the sun would naturally hit – my cheeks, nose and the top of my forehead.
I comb my eyebrows out with a clean mascara wand (you can pick these up at any make up counter) and set in place with Maybelline’s Brow Drama in Dark Blonde.
To finish off my face, I apply lots of Nars Blusher in Orgasm or Benefit’s Coralista (I find these are pretty much the same shade) using the Real Techniques multi-purpose brush.
To start, I line the inside of my eyes with Rimmel Scandaleyes eye liner in Nude.
I then line my eyelids and under the lash line with Benefit’s waterproof Bad Girl eye liner in Espresso.
Depending on my mood, I might add a little eye shadow out of the Too Faced natural eye set using various brushes including MAC 239 and the Real Techniques Crease Brush.
To finish, I curl my eyelashes with the Shu Uemure Gold curlers and apply lots of Maybelline’s Colossal Lash mascara in 100% black.
I apply a quick layer of Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream lipstick or cream and top off with Chanel Coco Shine Lipstick in Boy.
Voila! My everyday make up look is complete.
