Real Techniques make-up brushes

Brushes Square

I’ve only ever used a combination of MAC and Bobbi Brown brushes but decided to purchase a selection of Real Techniques brushes after seeing such great reviews online.

The Real Techniques brushes are designed by the popular You Tuber Samantha Chapman and are really high quality but are sold at really affordable prices.

They are so soft but apply make-up so well – you are left with a really professional finish every time. I like that they all have white tips which means they don’t leave the horrible black brush hairs on your face like some of the MAC brushes do.

I can honestly say that these brushes are the best I have ever used. One day after using them, I loved them so much that I ordered another Sam Pick’s set for my lovely mum for Mother’s Day! I am a complete convert and will continue to purchase lots more of these brushes in the future.

Here are a few of my favourites:

I like that this stippling brush bristles are short making it a lot easier to control when used for blending. I find this brush particularly useful for blending in contouring and applying cream blushes.

Buffing Brush
The perfect brush for foundation application. The bristles are soft but firm and this allows you to buff your foundation into your face for a clean, professional finish.

Multi Purpose Brush
I mainly use this multi purpose brush as a blusher brush. It picks up the perfect amount of blusher to give a really soft and clean effect on your cheeks.

Setting Brush
This brush is great for setting your under eye concealer and for applying powder to targeted areas of your face.

Powder Brush
The powder brush gives a really even, light coverage across your face. I use it to apply my bronzer. It also works really well to blend all your make up together as the bristles are so soft and full.

You can purchase the Real Techniques brushes online or in store at most large Boots pharmacy’s.
